Altek :
I’ve read many answers and comments about security and nothing I’ve seen works for me. I’ve got an aggressive firewall, anti-spam/virus/spyware, cookies blocked, no favorites, passwords and encryption, and my IP can still tell me within 30 seconds of connecting, just what my system is doing! I’m talking about requesting help with a system problem here, I’m not implying that they are eavesdropping!
What I’m looking for (I think) is a ’silent’ internet access similar to a silent telephone number. Connected to the network but not easily accessible. Would a proxy address do the job?

history tells us that huge number of multinational banks, companies, business agencies etc were hacked by pro hackers. hackers can do anything. just use a standard firewall and antivirus (eset nod32 3.0 smart security) and suft internet with cautions. always download, receive, send, visit trusted source. restrain your extra exploring mind on internet. hackers dont waste time for non-profit destination
First, I think you mean your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Second, when they give you help with a system problem, they generally tell you to do something on your machine to allow them in. That’s the safety measure. Don’t leave that doorway open for others. Close it when they’re finished helping you.
Hope that helps.
I’m guessing you mean IP as in Internet Provider, more commonly called ISP/Internet Service Provider.
Anyway, there are certain things your ISP will ALWAYS be able to track, otherwise you won’t have Internet service. If you ISP couldn’t tell what websites you look at, they wouldn’t be able to show you the websites.
They also need your IP address (Internet Protocol address) to uniquely identify your computer, otherwise they wouldn’t know which computer wanted to look at Yahoo Answers or whatnot.
A proxy gives you a level of anonymity, but I’m sure someone could still figure out what computer you’re coming from.
Basically, the internet is a public place, you can wear masks and disguises, and travel through alleys and backroads, but someone else will always be able to track you down if they really wanted to. Unless you’re better at covering your tracks than everyone else is at uncovering them. Which is unlikely.
After trying out for all antispyware software’s available in market I finally switched on to which helped me to remove dangerous Trojans stalling my computer for several days……you too go for it …..It works.
