I bought a new computer, because my old one was tearing up. I had been told the mother board would be going soon, so when it started going really slow, constantly showing “This page cannot be displayed” errors, playing videos very slowly & freezing, I figured it was getting worse, so I got a BRAND new Dell PC. Only to find this one doing the SAME THING! The only difference is now, my virus scanner (which I also had on the old computer) keeps popping up messages to me. The most frequent one says “Inbound Malware Probe MyDoom In”…the most recent says “Intrustion attempt detected TCP High ports in”. All of them say that my firewall has blocked them. I’ve also noticed (in the 4 days or so since I’ve had this computer), I’ve gotten a LOT of spam mail to my main email (not a yahoo acct, or such). What could have happened to cause this and how can I stop it? Is it some sort of virus or spyware or adware? A virus scan shows no viruses. But something is going on. Please help!

its probably a lot of spyware, be careful with what you download, prevent spyware with spyware blaster and delete them with superantispyware, it should work!
someone has ur ip address and is hackin your computer. probably it is some1 using ur wireless network or some1 living in ur household.
contact your internet provider and they can detect who is hackin ur system.
Someone may have you ip address and is hacking into your com. an putting adware or trojans on there. Try calling Dell and tell them the issue maybe they will fix it for free, and call your isp (internet service provider) and see if they will change your ip address if you have cable if it is Dynamic like dsl it will change periodicly but it could be something like that.
Udate your antivirus and scan your coputer in safe mode. After you remove virus, I recommend you use firefox browser. It is safer than IE. It can prevent viruses such as worm, trojan and etc. The newest official edition of firefox can be downloaded from
