Warcraft 3 has always worked perfectly fine for forever. About 3 weeks ago I bought the “Computer Associates Internet Security Suite” which includes firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-spam, website inspector, etc. After this was downloaded onto my computer, Warcraft 3 will ALWAYS freeze up about 5 minutes into the game.
-Is it possible that the Security programs would cause this problem (even though the firewall is set to allow this program) or is the freezing up problem completely unrelated?
-*”Freezing up” = the whole screen will stop moving, I can still see what is supposed to be on the screen, the mouse will stop whereever it is, and i cannot use “CTRL-ALT-DEL”. I have to manually turn the computer off to fix it”
-*I do not know the specifcations of the computer, but it loads the game in about 5 seconds, and has plenty of RAM*
-*side note = does anyone know anything about the process “mdmcls32.exe”? It is always running on my computer and taking up quite a lot of spa
This mainly happens while on Battle.Net, but it will also happen OCCASIONALLY while in single-player.
Interesting you say that. After looking all around online, I am being told by half of the people that “MDMCLS32.EXE” is a trojan, but the other half say that it is safe and comes with “CA Security Suite”. I’m not sure who to believe.

Am constantly bombarded by this Anti Spyware Shield ad that can’t be “closed” until I agree to have it either “continue unprotected” or “get full version now”. Those are the only optrions. It keeps popping up frequently. I already subscribe to another anti-spyware product, yet this Verizon-generated program is an undesireable spam that is harassing, annoying and seemingly can’t be closed or deleted. I want it stopped!!! Am hoping some Verizon support system can be of service in removing this enigma from my computer!!.

I continuously get the same damn ad from Class Mates.Com pasted in the upper left corner of My Yahoo page.
In the past, I’ve had to call the Class Mates people and threaten legal action to get them to stop their random Spam after using the privacy link at the bottom of their ads failed to invoke any action on their part.
In addition, my spy ware software (Spyware Doctor) blocks access to My AT&T Yahoo page when this ad is present. Spyware Doctor blocks this ad because I programmed it to in an attempt to block this constant harassment.
It never fails to amaze me how companies like Yahoo provide the means to block Spam from my Email and then force me to accept unwanted commercial ads that restrict access to my home page.
My AT&T DSL service has locked me into My Yahoo AT&T home page and email account. The two services have some common interface and troubleshooting services that I occasionally require. Also, new accounts would require a lot of notifications to various groups.

okay,so the thing is that anytime my protection on the pc informs me about something i dont need,i always select”block this……….” and i dont know wat happened but i saw something about yahoo messenger and i thought it was spam or spyware or a virus that had it,so i just clicked on “block” without reading it which i know was stupid, and u dont have to tell me that,but now when i want to sign in,it starts but then after like 3seconds it stops again and ive been trying to sign in for the past 48hours,did i by any chance block yahoo messenger and if so,how can i unblock it????please help…thanx!

My computer slows severely sometimes when I am connected to the internet (we have high-speed DSL, I connect over wireless modem to the router) It used to happen once or twice a week, now it is nearly every time I log on and within just a few minutes of start-up. We recently moved, and it happened before we moved, also. We have security on the wireless, so it shouldn’t be neighbors logging in. I’ve scanned for viruses and spyware using SBC Global’s latest tools, and de-fragged the hard drive, which is only 10% full. Nothing was found. I also removed everything from START UP, so nothing is running in the background. The hard drive light is barely blinking while this is happening, so it’s something using the CPU without touching the hard drive. Is it possible my computer is being hijacked for sending SPAM? How can I check, and what else can I do or test for?

Ive been having some weird issues with my computer lately. First off let me say, I am a computer tech, and I know about security and things like that, so I have a good amount of virus protection, spam/adware/spyware protection, and the windows firewall. Last night was the first time I have had any problems, what was happening, was I was getting popups to some virus check site. I would close it out and another would popup in its place. So I ran my spybot cleaner, and also CCcleaner to see if that would help problems, but AVG continued to detect something.
Spybot found several things, and tried cleaning most of them off, but somehow, some of it stayed, and Spybot asked if it could run on startup, when I shut down my computer, I got the Explorer can not be stopped, do you want to end now, or cancel to fix the problem. I clicked end now to go ahead and shut the computer down, but it seems like everytime I shut the computer down now, I am getting that same error. When I started the computer up I received no icons, no bar at the bottom, just the Spybot running. So I dont know if there is a major virus playing with this, of if there is some serious spyware wreaking havoc on my system. I just want to get it cleaned off, and go back to playing my games.
Also, the subject line above, when it first started messing up, before the popups, a balloon popped up on the bottom, and said that my automatic updates had been turned off, I never turned them off, and when spybot ran it found some kind of windows security program that said that the program that it found turns off the auto updates. Well thing is, when I turned it back on, it said I couldn’t, and then when I went to the system to turn the updates back on, it was already on. So thats another things with my computer. Any help will be great appreciated. Thanks

ok right here goes….u know like people’s account gets hacked and their msn account starts spamming contacts on IM…
well that happened to me on this new pc….and hmm so the account was hacked i tried everything….completely scanned my pc changed password to account and all. but it dint stop spamming.
then i lost hope and made a new account today but after like 4 hrs i find that, this new account has also been compromised….(hacked)…its spamming .
i imported contacts from the other to this one….but i dnt think that would have anything to do with this or will it ?
second of all, there is a high chance this means that my pc itself has been compromised hacked but i cant find any malware, spyware or viruses or trojans…used unhackme and McAfee.
So any ideas people….greatly appreciated? this is pissing me off lol

I have received “mail delivery failures” and discovered that someone has used my e-mail address to send out spam. the delivery failures are coming back to me because my e-mail address is in the “from” line. I have run virusscan and spyware scan and found nothing. Does anyone know how to fix this or do I just have to change my e-mail address? I really don’t want to do that because I have had the same e-mail for 6-7 years. Thank you
